Self put in the unit, guarantee card says that self install with best warrant the unit for ninety days and 1yr if by a Power Acoustic dealer. Unit powered on with out a issues in any respect. All the operates/ options that it offered operated most often, have not tried the ipod, reverse cam, nor the Navi but. I dont have an Ipod, will get the option Navi box and camera for the reverse within the close to future, and am beautiful positive that it will each work ok, not bad arse but good enough. This is my second unit from Power Acoustik, my first used to be a PTID-4006T, it used to be a great unit, once more self put in it, worked great, then I damaged the face plate and purchased this unit, I needed a massiveger viewing monitor.
K, moving along, like what the description and specs states on this unit... its all there. Sensitivity of the contact screen is excellent and responds fast, its so delicate that I am ready to make use of my finger nail, in order that I don't go away finger prints far and wide the display. Loading cds is faster then the my earlier PTID-4006T. I did surprise if this unit provided a case for the detach face plate, and it did.. lol its a cheasy fabric type case though, kinda like one thing for a digital camera... it does its job of defending the monitor although! but evidently I am going to get a hasslesome case for it. I am positive it's going to fit inside the Pelican 1030 Micro Case, I nonetheless have now not measured the face, been lazy, lol I've had this unit for approximately a month now, that goes to indicate that the equipped case does do it is job. The lock and the unlocking of the detach face onto the unit seems durable, locks beautiful tight, I went to the desert this previous weekend and did a "little" off roading, unit used to be good! No skips, face plate didn't fall off, once more... locking mechanism works nice.

Its ready to dim (high.med.low) all over evening time driving it will possibly dim pretty low.
